Built-in Identity Providers

Astran Continuity Cloud comes with pre-configured Identity Providers (IdPs) that streamline user authentication across all partitions. These IdPs manage who can log in and how they are authorized, simplifying access control setup.

Account Root User Identity Provider

This identity provider enables root account users to log in. By default, root users do not have access through the web interface for enhanced security.

Continuity Cloud Portal Identity Provider

Each partition has a dedicated, pre-configured IdP for the Continuity Cloud Portal. This IdP ensures that users can log in and perform tasks specific to their partition, securely and efficiently. Thanks to this IdP, administrators can connect their existing identities system such as Active Directory, to synchronize and provision automatically users. In addition, this IdP can be configured to apply additional security measures for user authentication, like two-factor authentication or password policies.
